Rosny Forest - 23 Km no bailout

Dear hiking friends,
Mountain training this week :)
I propose a big hike in the Rosny Forest to train for Spring mountain hiking.
Not easy, 23 km minimum and over 500 m of elevation.
Start from Buchelay Village and return to Buchelay where is a café, after the effort, the comfort.
As usual, take a picnic lunch, enough water AND a snack, 12km before lunch.

Getting there :
From Paris St Lazare, train to Vernon at 8h19, arriving at Mantes la Jolie at 8h53, direct train.

Then exit by the footbridge,  Mantes la Ville side (left), and take the bus, line K, which starts from quay 21 at 9h02 direction "Buchelay René Renault" (Zone 5). Get off at "Buchelay Mairie"(you can ask the driver) where I will wait for you.
Return by bus and train, same stations

See you on Wednesday.

Daniel R.

NB: Meeting point is at/on the platform, those who wish to travel together usually sit in the rear car.

Advice to hikers / Conseils aux randonneurs:
Make sure that you are covered by a personal accident and liability insurance, that you are fit enough to do the walk, and have the proper equipment / Assurez-vous que vous êtes couvert par une assurance responsabilité civile, que vous avez la condition physique nécessaire pour faire la randonnée choisie et que vous avez l’équipement adapté.
