> Longer walks VS shorter walks.
> "My grandmother started walking five miles a day when she was sixty, she's
> ninety-seven now, and we don't know where the hell she is."
> So I'll be reasonable to all Seniors: it will be a 12/14-kilometre walk or option 10/12-kilometre with return by bus.

The walk will take place along the beautiful banks of the Marne and its
> parallel canal, where the constant passage of barges contrasts with the
> elegant canoes and kayaks.
> We'll visit the Château of Champs (outside) and the garden "à la
> Française"), one of the
> finest in France, set in a park in the "English style".

HAPPENING -- After six years of work, the Château de Champs has just reopened. You can leave the group and make the visit from 1:30 pm. Price: 7.5 euros. (Free on Sunday). Distance from the château to RER station is 2 kilometers. A bus can take you there.

> * TRANSPORT *
> RER A (direction Marne-la-Vallée or Torcy) to NEUILLY-PLAISANCE (zone 3).
> The train 'QUEL' passes through Châtelet/Les Halles at 9:40 arriving at
> Neuilly-Plaisance at 9:55.
> Next is 9:49 arriving at 10:04. It's the Summer schedule with less trains
> so we will start immediately 10:04.
I DO RECOMMAND the 9:40 train arriving at 9:55. Next is just in case.
> Also, due to summer time the site of the RER seems capricious. Please
> CHECK! check!

> Meeting is outside the station. MAIN EXIT, place de la Gare.
