hike for Wednesday, August 21

Next Wednesday's hike will be led by Dominika Raveau. Here is her information:

 

 Sur les chemains des moulins, des peintres et des poètes

It will be a bucolic 9-10km leisurely walk along the river Yerres, (zone 4) starting in Villeneuve St Georges (Parc Beauregard) then we'll follow the Fil vert from Crosne to Yerres. There we'll enjoy in sightseeing of The Caillebotte Estate where Gustav Caillebotte, one of the impressionists lived from 1860 à 1879 and painted around 80 paintings. http://www.yerres.fr/index.php/_minisite_/display/La-production-yerroise?idpage=266&afficheMenuContextuel=true.

Then we'll proceed until the Parc de deux rivières. At the end we'll take a bus to go to the Gare RER, so take Mobilis zone 4 or a Metro ticket (en plus).
