Hike for 25 October

Fontainebleau Forest -  Cuvier-Chatillon  

about 18 km 

We will hike from Bois le Roi to Fontainebleau-Avon via Rocher Canon, Cuvier-Châtillon & St Germain, elevation about 300m.There will be ups and downs and rocks. 

You must be in good form to maintain a steady pace. Wear good footwear, bring snacks and enough water as there is no water in the forest. 

Getting there:

-Take train 91003 Line R to Laroche-Migennes at 8.49from Gare de Lyon, arriving in Bois le Roi at 9.21, Zone 5 (the train stops at Melun). 

Departure should be from Hall 1-lettered platforms- but check on arrival. I will meet you at Gare de Lyon.

- Return trains from Fontainebleau-Avon every half hour.  16:00, 16:31, 17:00… 45 min to Gare de Lyon because of maintenance work.

There is a brasserie next to the train station .

If you do not have a "Passe Navigo", or benefit from any discounted fares, buy a "Mobilis 5 zones"

NB: Meeting point is at the platform, those who wish to travel together usually sit in the rear car.
