Along the Vaucouleur valley - 20 km
Dear hiking friends,
The Vaucouleur river is a small river which flows into the Seine river, near Mantes la Jolie.
We will follow its valley through hills and small villages before returning to Mantes.
The hike is about 20 km, not too hard (about 350 m of elevation). One bailout possible ( after 15km)
As usual, take a picnic lunch, water and of course, shoes and clothing adapted to the season without forgetting your good mood.
Getting there :
From Paris-St Lazare Train to Bréval at 9h07, arriving at Mantes la Jolie at 9h42.
Then exit by the footbridge Mantes la Ville side and take the bus, line K, which starts from quay 21
at 10h00 direction "Buchelay René Renault" (Zone 5). Get off at "Marronniers”(you can ask the driver ) where I will wait for you.
Return by the same station, direct trains at 16h04 and 17h01
See you on Wednesday,
Daniel
