Hike for 9 January 2019

Beynes and the Mauldre valley. 19 km

Dear hiking friends,

This week  I propose a walk  through charming villages and nice country panoramic views on a 

new itinerary.

This hike is about 19 Km. It is easy from Beynes to Mareuil sur Mauldre, 8 km, where there is a 

possible bail out.

Then back to Beynes, doing an 11km circle, a bit more difficult if it is raining as we go through some 

open fields. The difference in altitude is 385 m.

As usual, take a picnic lunch, water and of course, shoes and a good clothing adapted to the season. 

Getting there:

From Paris  Montparnasse to Beynes direct  8.39 a.m arriving at 9.26 a.m

Return : Beynes to Montparnasse direct 17.19  arriving at 18.07 

Bail out return : at Mareil sur Mauldre at 14.15  arriving at Montparnasse at 15.11

NB: Meeting point is at/on the platform, those who wish to travel together usually sit 

in the rear car.
