Hike for 22 November

Along the Grand Morin 
15km or 21km, if extended

Dear hiking friends, On Wednesday, November 22nd we will walk alongside the banks of the river Grand-Morin in the department of Seine-et-Marne.  There are still some traces of Roman settlement along the Grand Morin: many water mills and paper factories used up until the 15th century.  Our itinerary will be a loop starting and ending in Faremoutiers. Bring your usual gear, picnic and water.  GETTING THERE: Departure 9:16 at Gare-de-l'Est Arrival 10:09 Faremoutiers (Pommeuse). Direction Coulommiers. Zone 5. Likely return: 15:45 from Faremoutiers, arriving at Gare-de-l'Est, 16:42. Next is 16:45 arriving 17:42. ---- The distance will be 15 km. ----  ALSO ---- OPTION for a 20/21-km walk. Return from Faremoutiers   Possible but unlikely return 16:45 arriving 17:42. Likely return 17:40 arriving 18:42. I'm looking forward to seeing you.

NB: Meeting point is at the platform, those who wish to travel together usually sit in the rear car.
