Since I may not have WIFI next week, I am sending information for both June 10 and 17 today. You need personal accident and liability insurance for all our walks.

Nous partirons de Presles et il sera possible de prendre le train du retour à Viarmes, à Seugy ou à Luzarches. Selon la gare de retour choisie le parcours sera de 10,13 ou 16Kms. A noter que les 10 premiers Kms (Presles-Viarmes) sont entièrement dans la forêt de Carnelle et comportent de nombreuses montées et descentes. Il faut signaler aussi que les gares de Viarmes et Seugy sont dans la campagne et n'ont pas de bistrot à proximité. Je ne connais pas la situation à Luzarches.
We will walk in the Foret de Carnelle and surrounding countryside. We will start at Presles, zone 5, and end at Luzarches (16 km), also zone 5, with bailout possibilities at Viarmes (10 km) and Seugy (13km) along the way. The first 10 km in the Foret de Carnelle will have several hills to climb and descend.
Transport: au départ: Gare du Nord (surface) train PEMI 9h10, direction Persan Beaumont. Arrivée à Presles à 9h41.
Retour: un train par heure et le trajet est de 48mn.
You will need a picnic lunch, plenty of water and sun/rain protection.

1. Domi's info:
For Wednesday, June 17, as an option to Daniel's R. extraordinary hike I propose "only 9-10 km"!
We will walk from Grand Canal du Parc de Sceaux to Vallée aux Loups via Coulée Verte and Forêt de Verrières.
Departure from Châtelet les Halles at 9:38 RER B train PIER, direction St Rémy les Chevreuse.
The same train passes through Denfert-Rochereau at 9:46, arriving in La Croix de Berny (zone 3) at 9:56.
You can take the exit rue Velpeau then pass under the railway bridge or the exit Parc de Sceaux. I will arrive by bus.
Meeting point on the same side of the street. Return from Robinson, zone 3, trains to Paris every 15 min
It will be possible to leave after 6-7 km; there is a bus going to Porte d'Orléans M° line 4, passing near Gare Robinson RER B then near M° Chatillon line 13.
Bring your picnic, water and good will.

2. Daniel Robinot's hike will be about 27 km and in the Mantois (around Mantes-La-Jolie). At this writing I do not have the train détails and meeting point but I will post this information as soon as I can.
