 Hike for 29 November 2017

GETTING THERE:

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Wednesday nov 29th
I propose 17 km in a loop starting and ending in Melun
it is a normal walk without hard difficulties
(about 04h30 effective walking at a normal pace)
that part of the forest doesn’t have many rocks but it may be pleasant in autumn
some spots have an historical interest
the return part will be alongside the banks of the Seine

GETTING THERE:
We will start from "gare de Lyon" railway station at 09h20 (train towards Montargis)
arriving at Melun at 09h48

be careful as metro line 4 trains will not stop at "Chatelet" station
but "Chatelet-les-Halles" must be OK (I hope so ...)

toilets may be available in the train (????) or in a café outside Melun railway station
foresee half an hour walk in urban streets before reaching the forest

return train from Melun about every half an hour ( ..h08 and ..h40)

weather forecast : rather low temperature (2° to 6°) with possible showers!

hope to see you,

Jean-Louis Narjoux
