Hike for February 18

Dear Hikers,

Dominique Raveau will lead our hike next Wednesday. Here is her information.

For next Wednesday I propose 14 km walk through Vallée de Bièvre beginning in Forêt de Verrieres. We will follow the river for a while, then walk through the Forêt de Monteclin. There will be quite a difficult climb and descent. The walk will end at la gare de Bièvres but you can walk 2 km more with me until la gare d'Igny, si affinité... If you like.

Travel arrangements:

From CHATELET LES HALLES take RER B (train STRI) at 09:02, direction ROBINSON; 

the same train from DENFERT-ROCHEREAU at 09:10, arrives at ROBINSON at 09:28 (zone 3)

At the Gare de Robinson walk to the head of the train then to the right and take the exit Av.Jules Guesde. The meeting place-on the top of the stairs then we will cross the street and take the bus 294 direction Igny,(zone 4). 

Return from Bievres RER C to Versailles Chantiers at 15:33, 16:03

or from Igny by the bus 294 to Robinson, trains to Paris every 15 minutes. You will need Mobilis 4 zones or train and metro tickets.

Bring your walking sticks, food for snack and picnic, every kind of drink and a lot of positive energy.
