Hike for July 22

This coming Wednesday Judy will be our leader. Here is her info:

Dear Fellow-stay-in-Paris- for- the- summer- Walkers ,

This walk of 20.5 km starts in Dourdan and goes North for a change ( we will not be going around the town this time ) . We will go past a couple of chateaux and some old farmhouses in the morning and then in the afternoon it will be mostly wooded. Undulating but really nothing difficult. We will end in St Cheron . No real possibility of shortening this walk I am afraid .

Bring lunch , lots of water , sun hat , sun cream , bug spray , or if the forecast is for rain bring waterproofs . Wear suitable footwear for a long hike . The path is a little overgrown in places so you may wish to wear long trousers ( I may well ignore this warning ! )

TRAVEL INSTRUCTIONS

I SHALL DRIVE SO WILL SEE YOU AT DOURDAN

Take RER C train DEBA at 8.47 from Austerlitz or 8.50 from Bibliotheque Francois Mitterand to Dourdan (that is the final destination of the train) arriving 9.50 . If you want to travel together I suggest you travel in the last carriage of the train.
Return trains from St Cheron are half hourly at 17 and 47 minutes past the hour and probably we will make either the 16 .17 or 16.47.
Both these stations are in zone 5.

Hopefully see some of you on Wednesday  (or at least one of you otherwise I shall be lonely *:( sad )
Judy
