The walk will include Rochers Cassepot and other smaller rock formations near Fontainebleau. There will be ups and downs.

Wear good footwear. Bring snacks & enough water. 

GETTING THERE

-Take train GAMA to Montargis at 9.16 from Gare de Lyon, arriving at Fontainebleau-Avon at 9.54, Zone 5 (the train stops at Melun).

Departure should be from Hall 1 -lettered platforms- but check on arrival. I will meet you at Gare de Lyon, we will sit in the last car.

-Return trains from Fontainebleau-Avon every half hour.

There is a brasserie next to the train station.

If you do not have a "Passe Navigo", or benefit from any discounted fares, buy a "Mobilis 5 zones" (17.80€).

NB: Meeting point is at/on the platform, those who wish to travel together usually sit in the rear car.
