Hike for 4 April

St Rémy   -   about 21.5 or 17.5 k

Dear Walkers,

this week’s hike will take us to beautiful Vallée de Chevreuse, 21.5K. It will include some elevation, we will walk at a steady pace to arrive early enough at the train station, it can be shortened to 17.5k  if need be.

As usual, take a picnic lunch, water and of course, shoes and clothing adapted to the season without forgetting your fine spirit.

Getting there:

RER B “PEPE”to St Rémy les Chevreuses, Station Châtelet-Les Halles at  8.56  (next trains 9.11, 9.26, 9.41)
Meeting point: on the platform, rear end of the train, last car

Return from the same station  15:57, 16:12, 16:27, 16:42

Train schedule:

Daniel R.

________________________________

RER B to St Rémy is run by the RATP we should be fine, fingers crossed.
I suggest, if possible, that we all meet at Châtelet-Les Halles in case of train cancelation or problems accessing the train; we can catch the next trains in case of a problem with the first one.
Daniel will drive and meet up with us in St Rémy.

If, by any chance, we were unable to catch a train, I will offer a "city/park walk" from Châtelet to Bois de Vincennes.
In the event that we couldn’t even meet up at the platform, the meeting point will be in front of the canopy on the garden side at the top of the elevators to Les Halles station and shopping center. I will wait there until around 10am.

Laurence

NB: Meeting point is at/on the platform, those who wish to travel together usually sit in the rear car.
