Wednesday 17 April in the Hauts de Seine / Sunday 21 April at Morbras

The étang de Triveaux
Dominique Raveau will lead is on next week's hike along the sentier des Quatre Forets in the southern part of the Hauts de Seine. After her announcement there is additional information about Daniel's hike on Sunday 21 April.

First, Domi's info:

For next Wednesday I propose a hike of about 11 km on hilly ground with some ups and downs and one steep climb through the woods and around some ponds of Plessis-Robinson, Clamart and Meudon forest.

The picnic spot will be near l'étang de Triveaux in the forêt de Meudon.  http://www.tate.org.uk/art/artworks/matisse-trivaux-pond-n04717.

There is a little buvette-brasserie in the vicinity where it is possible to have a hot meal or a sandwich. Those who bring their lunch can take crêpe or a cup of coffee — such a comfort in the middle of the forest!

Travel arrangements:

From Châtelet Les Halles take RER B at 9.36 direction Robinson. Arrival at Robinson at 10.01, zone 3. The same train from Denfert Rochereau passes at 9.43. Be there earlier.

At the Gare de Robinson walk to the head of the train then to the right and take the exit avenue Jules Guesde. The meeting place will be at the top of the stairs.

Don't forget your walking sticks and your good spirits.

Return from Meudon Val Fleury RER C zone 3.

See you on Wednesday with the good weather and your smiles.

Dominique
