Wednesday 11 July in Huguenot country

The valley south of Vaux les Huguenots near Montboulets

Next Wednesday, Claude will lead us on a lovely 13km hike through hills and dales of the Yvelines, starting and ending in a village of the valley of the Mauldre River. On the way, we will pass through a village founded by Protestants fleeing the Counter-Reformation. Here is Claude's info:

See you on Wednesday!

Greetings from Oregon. Just discovered this blog.

We will be in Paris for a week, including Wednesday Oct. 10. Any idea what sort of walks you'll be having at that time of year?

Hello Barry,

Walks for any given Wednesday are normally decided... early the weekend before. So no, we can't provide any details for 10 October.

However, it is a practical certainty that there will be one, that it will accessed by train, that it won't be very far from Paris nor very strenuous. Our walks have a strong family resemblance, so looking through past issues of the blog will give a pretty good picture of what we're likely to be up to.

Meanwhile let us know directly if you have any questions about walking in the Paris area.
