Sentier Denecourt-Colinet N°11 La Mare aux Fées

Next Wednesday, July 18th, Judy and Cecilia will lead a walk in Fontainbleau Forest starting from Bourron-Marlotte station. This walk is part of the Denecourt-Colinet trail N°11; 16-17km (about 5½ hours walking) with several steep rocky climbs, returning to Bourron-Marlotte station through the historic village of the same name.

We will take the 9.19 train from Gare de Lyon, direction Montargis, to Bourron-Marlotte (zone 5). For the return journey, we'll make for the 16.40 train arriving Gare de Lyon at 17.41. As trains are only every hour, we'll need to walk at a fairly brisk pace and not stop too long for lunch.

Wear stout walking shoes and bring the usual rain gear, sun protection, picnic lunch and water.
