Marcel Dyf  (1899-1985) Neauphle le Château

Next Wednesday, Daniel Robinot will lead us on a 15 km hike around Neauphle le Chateau in the department of Les Yvelines. It will be a loop, starting and ending at the same station with no possibility to shorten the walk.

 

Neauphle has a long and glorious history, but it is probably best known for a late twentieth century event when the Ayatollah Khomeini, having been forced out of Iran by the Shah, took up residence in Neauphle in 1979.

Ce mercredi 25 juillet je vous invite à une randonnée autour de Neauphle Le Château dans les Yvelines. Parcours facile de 15km environ avec peu de dénivelées (total cumulé : 250 m).

Parcours en boucle, pas de possibilités de raccourci.

Travel information: 

Départ Gare Montparnasse  direction Dreux train DAPO à 9.58.
Arrivée gare Neauphle Ponchartrain Villiers St Frédéric à 10.31 (Zone 5). Rendez-vous devant la gare. Meet in front of the station.

Retour Paris à 15.29 ou 16.29 - train PADO
Arrivée Paris à 16.02 ou 17.02.

Comme d'habitude et surtout par ce bel été, vêtement et chaussures adaptés, casse-croûte et bonne humeur bien sûr.

As always, especially during this lovely summer, wear appropriate clothing and shoes, bring a picnic lunch and don't forget your sense of humor!
